Who runs this site
This site is run by Keel Digital, a sole trader business based in Sunderland. Keel Digital is the data controller for the details you send. You can reach me at hello@keeldigital.co.uk.
What I collect, and why
If you use the contact form, I receive your name, phone number, your trade (if you give it) and your message. If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you write.
I use these details only to reply to you and, if you want to go ahead, to arrange and do the work. I never sell them, share them for marketing or add you to a mailing list.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry you sent me. If we go on to agree work, it becomes taking steps to enter into a contract with you.
Who else handles your details
A few services process your details on my behalf, only so the site and email work:
- Cloudflare hosts this site and runs the spam check on the form (Turnstile).
- Resend delivers the form message to my inbox.
- Zoho provides my email mailbox, in its EU data centre.
Some of these companies may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep them
If no work follows, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, I keep what's needed for the work and my business records, which is usually six years for tax.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. The spam check on the form is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile and only loads when you reach the form.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details I hold about you, have them corrected, or have them deleted. You can also object to how I use them. Email hello@keeldigital.co.uk and I'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
